In the Job Readiness classes, refugees gain the skills necessary to find and keep a job in America, from starting a resume to filling out HR paperwork.

Our computer classes equip refugees with computer skills including using Microsoft Word to create resumes, practicing Internet safety while searching for a job, and sending emails to apply for jobs.

Introduction to the Refugee Career Hub

Who We Are

We are a walk-in career assistance center for UN resettled refugees residing in Clarkston, GA.  Staff and volunteers offer free technology and Internet access and networking opportunities for refugee families seeking employment. Each day, we provide over 20 job seekers services such as resume building, computer literacy classes, mentor relationships, and career-preparation classes. We have established partnerships with employers in several industries such as light industrial, manufacturing, construction, food services and hospitality. Since 2008, we have placed over 3,000 refugees in jobs around metro Atlanta.
