The Career Hub, formerly Cafe Clarkston, is named such because it is the center of employment, vocation and training for Friends of Refugees and the Clarkston, GA area. Our name also states our purpose: That we will be the center of vocational employment in the heart of Clarkston to empower those who wish to work for themselves gain meaningful employment.

Refugee Career Hub, a program of Friends of Refugees, Inc.,

We have offered a walk-in internet and career assistance center to UN resettled refugees representing over 100 ethnic groups residing in Clarkston, GA. Since 2008, staff and volunteers have provided free technology access, learning and networking opportunities for refugee families to find employment. Through resume building, computer literacy, job classes/fairs, and mentorship activities, we are a hub of over 20 walk in job seekers per day residing in Clarkston/Stone Mtn. Through various employer partners representing light industrial, manufacturing, construction, food services and hospitality industries, we have placed over 3,000 refugees in jobs around metro Atlanta.
